Thermosiphon Vessels

We offer thermosiphon vessels in which the Burgmann TS system is used to supply buffer fluid to double and tandem seal arrangements for a broad range of applications. The buffer fluid flows via the rising pipe into the vessel and is cooled. Particularly with natural circulation, the level should always be higher than the rising pipe to maintain the circulation and to provide the specified cooling capacity. Connection pipes to the seal should be designed with as little resistance as possible. Use compressed air or nitrogen for pressurization. TS vessels are equipped as standard with all the necessary connections and brackets. System components can be installed to suit new requirements or seal retrofits at a later date. The vessel is used for the storage, pressure maintenance and cooling of buffer fluid in a sealing circuit. Design and production conform to the German Pressure Vessel Regulations and the AD Code.

Thermosiphon system-TS 2000

With the Burgmann TS system it is possible to supply buffer fluid to double and tandem seals. Equipped as standard with all necessary system connections and brackets, components can be installed to suit new requirements or seal retrofits at a later date. The vessel is used for the storage, pressure maintenance and cooling of buffer fluid in a sealing circuit. Design and production conform either to the German Pressure Vessel Regulations or the AD Code.

Tested as a prototype by the Bavarian Technical Inspectorate (TUV)
Pressure-loaded welds butt-welded or counter butt-welded by MIG and TIG process
Sockets with recessed gasket (no contamination of the circuit by thread sealant)
